Abstract Sand or fine is a typical product in many processing of oil production from unconsolidated and weakly consolidated formations. Hence, it significant problem that requires be managed studied. To minimize impacts particle migration, chemical consolidators/stabilizers utilized alter surface properties formation particles. The decreasing zeta potential besides increasing cohesion between particles could result controlled However, understanding mechanism application methods alleviate not well-discussed. This study presents discusses consolidator/stabilizer agents, which may applied for managing petroleum industry. was achieved through comprehension review literature other fields such as bauxite residue (red mud red sand) control, desert sand, mine reclamation, wind erosion unpaved road modification, enhancement retention soil infiltration similar sand.
